Refund Policy

1. Overview
This Refund Policy describes when BuddyTMS ("we", "us") may issue refunds for BuddyTMS subscription fees, activation fees, and marketplace token purchases — our SaaS charges.
By subscribing to a paid plan, you agree to this policy in addition to our Terms and Conditions.
This Policy does not cover freight invoices you bill to your customers. Refunds and disputes for a freight invoice are between you (the broker) and your shipper/customer; see our Payments Policy.
2. Free plan
The Free plan does not require payment. No refunds apply because no subscription fees are charged.
3. Pro trial
If you start a Pro trial, you will not be charged during the trial period unless you convert to a paid subscription before the trial ends.
Canceling before the trial ends avoids any charge. Once a trial converts to paid billing, the subscription terms below apply.
4. Monthly subscriptions
Pro subscriptions are billed monthly in advance.
You may cancel at any time from your workspace or by contacting support. Cancellation stops future renewals; access continues through the end of the current billing period.
We do not provide prorated refunds for partial months after a billing cycle has started, except where required by law or explicitly approved by us in writing.
5. Billing errors & duplicate charges
If you believe you were charged in error or billed twice for the same period, contact us within 30 days of the charge. Verified billing errors will be corrected with a full refund of the erroneous amount.
6. Marketplace token packs
One-time marketplace token pack purchases are generally non-refundable once tokens are credited to your workspace wallet.
If tokens were not delivered due to a confirmed payment or platform error, contact support within 30 days. See our Wallet, Tokens & Payments Policy for full terms.
7. Freight invoice payments & platform fee
Refunds for a freight invoice paid through Pay Now (Stripe) are issued by you (the broker) to your customer; we are not a party to that transaction. See our Payments Policy for how Pay Now, the platform fee, and BNPL work.
If you refund a Pay Now payment, the platform fee originally collected on that payment is reversed or netted against your workspace along with it — we do not keep a fee on funds you refunded.
8. Service issues
If the Service is unavailable for an extended period due to a fault on our side, we may issue a credit or refund at our discretion, proportional to the impact and your plan fees.
Issues caused by your network, third-party integrations, or misuse of the Service are not eligible for refunds.
9. Chargebacks
Please contact support before initiating a chargeback so we can resolve the issue directly. Accounts with abusive or fraudulent chargebacks may be suspended.
10. How to request a refund
Email support@buddytms.com with your workspace name, billing email, charge date, and reason for the request. We typically respond within 5 business days.
11. Changes
We may update this policy. The revised date at the top of this page reflects the latest version. Material changes may be communicated by email or in-app notice.
